History

01

FOUNDATION

In 2008, a group of 75 highly respected members of the Pakistani community, originally from Sialkot ( Punjab, Pakistan) and based in New York City, came together with a shared vision to unite the community, address its challenges, and find ways to serve its members. As discussions progressed, the idea of forming an organization that could effectively support the Pakistani community took shape.

02

PLANNING

It was during these early discussions that the name and identity of the Allama Iqbal Community Center (AICC) emerged, inspired by the renowned Islamic poet and philosopher Sir Allama Muhammad Iqbal, who hailed from Sialkot. As a symbol of our commitment to preserving the cultural heritage of our community, the name AICC was chosen to reflect the values and ideals that Sir Allama Muhammad Iqbal embodied.
