The Allama Iqbal Community Center (AICC) has been a significant player in representing Pakistani culture in the United States through its social and cultural events department.
Over the years, the department has organized numerous events that have showcased the richness and diversity of Pakistani culture to a wider audience.

One of the department’s most significant accomplishments has been organizing the Iftaar dinners during the holy month of Ramadan, where members of the Pakistani community gather to break their fast together. The department has also played a crucial role in organizing Eid celebrations, particularly the festivities that take place during the Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha.
In addition to these events, the department has been instrumental in organizing the Pakistan Day celebration, which takes place every year in August. This event commemorates the day when Pakistan gained independence from British rule in 1947 and is an opportunity for the Pakistani community to come together and celebrate their cultural heritage.
AICC social and cultural events department is the annual "Brooklyn Mela" :
Perhaps the most significant event organized by the AICC social and cultural events department is the annual “Brooklyn Mela.” This event, which takes place in Little Pakistan, Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, is a much-anticipated event for Pakistani Americans living in the tri-state area. The event features famous Pakistani singers and other performers, and the whole management and AICC team work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure its success.
